Taxi To Airport considers it important that the personal data of customers and relations are carefully handled and protected. How we process your data and how we use it, you can read in this privacy statement.
First and foremost is that we process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens (WBP). Taxi To Airport is responsible for the data processing according to the WBP. In order to carry out rides, Taxi To Airport takes care of the transfer of the necessary data to the cab company. The taxi company is also independently responsible to the WBP. For any processing of personal data at the Taxi companies, we refer you to that Taxi company.

Cookies
We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a small file that is sent with pages from our website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on your next visit. In our taxitoairport.net app we use similar techniques, among other things so that you do not have to log in again each time you start up the taxitoairport.net app.
Through our website, a cookie is also placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to receive reports on how visitors use the website. We also use similar techniques to use the “Analytics” service in our TaxiToAirport App. In addition, in our Taxiconnect.nl Apps we use the services of the U.S. company Branch. Google and Branch may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have allowed Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services.
The information is transferred to and stored by Google and Branch on servers in the United States. Google and Branch claim to adhere to the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated with the Safe Harbor program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that they protect the processing of any personal data according to those principles.
We handle your data with care. And we will always do so, even if we are constantly looking for the best way to make it as easy and quick as possible for you to use our services. We recommend that you read this statement regularly so you will know how Connect B.V. protects your data.
What data do we process?
If you use our TaxiToAirport.net App and our services, we register the following personal data from you for a proper functioning:
- Name, email and phone number
- Payment method, last 4 digits and expiration date of credit card
- Facebook username and connections (if provided)
- Geolocation information
- Profile picture (if provided)
- Transaction information (date, time, event and characteristics of event, such as cost and distance)
- Device information (hardware, OS, serial number and mobile network)
Data exchange takes place over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2 or better).
What do we use this data for?
We use your data for the following purposes:
- Logging into your personal account
- Processing your trip reservation
- Assigning your ride reservation to a Taxi Company
- Taking care of communication between passenger and driver
- Sending invoices, processing payments
- Handling complaints, wishes and suggestions
- Providing ride history in the TaxiToAirport App
- TaxiToAirpoet.net Reporting of financial and operational performance to Taxi companies and their drivers
- Sending messages about our services (opt-in)
- Assisting with the administration of data for tax filing obligation of Taxi companies
- Improving our services and optimizing our customer acquisition efforts, for example by analyzing complaints or trends in usage
When you sign up for a service or product of TaxiToAirport B.V., we ask you to provide personal data. These data are stored in the customer system of TaxiToAirport B.V. and used to provide our services and products to you within the applicable conditions. Your personal data will only be used by Connect B.V. . We do not provide your personal data to third parties without permission, unless we are required to do so by law or a court order or if it is necessary for the implementation of the agreement between you and Connect B.V. . Anonymized management TaxiToAirport.net reports and usage statistics may be shared with our stakeholders.
How long do we keep this data?
TaxiToAirport.net B.V. keeps your data no longer than legally permitted and than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are processed. How long certain data are kept depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which they are processed. The retention period may therefore differ for each purpose.
Your travel and usage data are kept for objection, complaint, TaxiToAirport.net reporting and billing purposes for up to eighteen months after your last login. After the expiration of the legal retention period, the traffic data will be deleted. One of those legal retention periods is the obligation to keep trip status data for 7 years.
What are your rights?
Inspection of your data
As a customer, you are of course entitled to inspect your personal data. This means that you can ask which personal data of you are registered and for which purposes these data are used. If you have a TaxiToAirport B.V. account, you can view your personal and travel data.
A request for inspection can also be submitted by sending an email, containing your name, address, landline- and/or cell phone number and a copy of a valid identification, stating “request for inspection right personal data” to info@taxitoairport.net.
Correction of your data
As a customer you have the right to have your personal data corrected, if it appears that our registration is not or no longer correct. This also applies if the data needs to be supplemented or adjusted. You can contact us via info@taxitoairport.net. You will receive a written answer within 4 weeks.
If at any time you no longer wish to receive messages about our services, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the relevant mail. We will only send you information about our services if you have given us your prior consent.
